One winter evening in 2003 I was enjoying one of Gary Rasmussen's jam sessions at the Dexter Alley when he and Billy Brandt played a superb cover of "Now I wanna be your dog". This was the first time I had heard a bar band do a Stooges cover. I went over to talk to them and started asking them questions about where I might hear some good space/prog rock locally. They gave me Kerry's E-mail and before I know it, shit, it's a year later and I am doing this web page for them. I must admit to feeling a bit sheepish for not telling you anything about the band yet. OK, THTX = Twenty-three Hour Technicolor Xorcism. The music reminds me of , no, wait, I am not gonna do that trip. Let's just say I really like Grobschnitt, May Blitz, Eloy, Hawkwind, Melting Euphoria, Spacious Mind, Liquid Sound Company, Sailor Free, Triana and Trad Gras Och Stenar, to name a few. After hearing the first few CDs by these guys, seeing them live, and hearing their other bands (Outrageous Cherry's Book of Spectral Projections is dynamite) I was hooked. I am proud to be part of this project.
